Announcing:
SUMMER SPIN CLUB - 2010!

We are pleased to announce that, in addition to our regular summer rehearsal schedule, we are inviting all incoming 7th & 8th graders, as well as any Fall Marching Band student who is intereted in competing with the Trumbull High School Scholastic A Guard for the 2011 winter season, to join us for SPIN CLUB on the following dates:

- Wednesday, July 7th, 6pm - 8pm, Hillcrest Middle School
- Wednesday, July 21st, 6pm - 8pm, Hillcrest Middle School
- Wednesday, July 28th, 6pm - 8pm, Hillcrest Middle School
- Wednesday, August 4th, 6pm - 8pm, Hillcrest Middle School

(Please note that there are weapon sectionals on some of these dates for Fall Guard Weapons.  These rehearsals are completely separate.)

There will be no fees for these extra rehearsals - however - if a student is interested in spinning rifle, they must purchase one that they may keep.  The cost is $35, and must be paid for by July 21st.  Checks should be made payable to THSGEMB.

These "Spin Club" rehearsals will be staffed by members of our 2011 A Guard Staff, including Mrs. Whitmoyer, Emily Whitmoyer, Melissa Crandall and Joe Esteves (a new addition to our team this year!).  Tom Dargon will be joining the technical and design team once again this year, but will be focused on the Fall Guard program through the summer.

Anyone interested in joining us for these rehearsals should feel free to drop by and give it a try!  We will be focusing mainly on equipment basics through the summer, and will work at a very basic level to help build a training foundation for each student!  This is also a perfect opportunity for first time spinners in the Fall Program to get extra help.
